Latahevai "Vai" Lousi, has transitioned into her first role as an assistant coach, two years after her successful career at San Jose State University.

Vai, who played six seasons at San Jose State, has achieved remarkable milestones in her volleyball career. She was honored as a three-time All-Mountain West team selection and received the Audie Murphy Leadership Award. With 1,201 kills, she holds the 10th spot in career kills at San Jose State.  She has earned a spot among the elite in the program being the 22nd player in program history to achieve 20 kills and 20 digs in a match against the University of Nevada. Hailing from the Bay Area, she represented Washington High School in Fremont and played for Encore Volleyball, based in Redwood City, during her club career.
