THEY SHOWED UP, THEY SHOWED OUT
The Jaguars women's basketball team (7-1), led by head coach Terri-Oberg Hearn took their show on the road. The ladies tripped to Riverside Ca, competing in the Riverside basketball tournament on the campus of Riverside College. In route to claiming the tournament championship, the Jaguars defeated Fullerton College (51-38), Rio Hondo College (51-46), and Cerritos College, (66-51) to claim the championship trophy. Izzy Campbell (San Jose, Oak Grove HS) took have all tournament honors, and Xiana Torres (San Jose, Silver Creek HS) walked away with Most Valuable Player trophy.
The Jaguars have played three games since Riverside, going 2-1, losing to Solano College, then beating College of the Siskiyous and American River College in back to back games. The Jaguars will hit the road this weekend to participate in the Napa Valley College tournament, where they will face Los Angeles Harbor College in their first round game.
