Terri "Coach O" Oberg-Hearn begins her 28th year as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at San Jose City College. Under her leadership the team has competed in over 20 Northern California Regional Playoff games including four State Championship tournaments. In 1998, Coach O was named Coach-of-the-Year by the California Community College Athletic Association and her Lady Jags brought home the first ever Women's State Championship trophy to SJCC. 

Academically, Oberg's teams have been just as successful. Her teams have posted a 92% graduation rate and many players have been included in memberships to the Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
