Men's and Women's Track and field performance at the Coast Conference Championship
The SJCC Men's and Women's Track and Field team recently competed in the Coast Conference Championship, where they showcased their impressive skills and abilities. Daniel Morales stole the show by securing 1st place in the pole vault with the State A Standard, ensuring his place in the upcoming NorCal Championship. Kelly Evans also did remarkably well by finishing 7th in the pole vault and advancing to the NorCal Championship.
In addition to these outstanding performances, Shean Demetrius finished 2nd in the 110 high hurdles and 8th in the 100-meter dash, earning him a spot in the NorCal Championship for hurdles. There were also some notable performances by Daniel Salmeron and Ryan Hen in the 1500, while Mathew Stacy finished 1st in his heat in the 200.
On the Women's team, Hillary Dang finished in 10th place and also advanced to the NorCal Championship. Overall, the SJCC Track and Field team performed exceptionally well, showcasing their talent and dedication, and represented their college with pride. With the NorCal Championship approaching, the team will be looking to maintain their momentum and achieve even greater success.
