Debbie Huntze-Rooney named Coach of th Year

Debbie Huntze-Rooney completes her 28^th year as the head coach for the Jaguars.  She was selected as Northern California Coach of the Year, Coast Conference Coach South Division Coach of the Year, and her coaching staff was selected as Regional Coaching Staff of the Year. 

Debbie guided San Jose City to #2 overall seed in the 2019 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Northern California post-season. The Jaguars made it to the final eight teams in the state tournament, and finished with a record of 38-6, with a 19 game wins streak. The Jaguars were Coast Conference Champions-South Division.

Coach Debbie Huntze-Rooney is entering her 29th year as the head coach here at San Jose City College.
